Shortcrust is a Brooklyn-based home bakeshop by New York native, Kayla Sossin, that focuses on bringing the highest quality ingredients to small batch pastries and cakes.

 

Kayla grew up learning how to bake from the greats: her mom and her Nana. The joy she found in sharing her baking with family and friends is the driving force behind Shortcrust.

Kayla is extending that joy to a wider community. Through pop-ups, collaborations, and custom orders, she brings the same experience that started in her family kitchen to the Shortcrust community.
